When it comes to footwear collaborations between Kanye West and adidas (XETRA:ADS.DE -1.55%) , there’s plenty of them to go around. This is mostly true for the two parties’ popular adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 as it’s set to build out its catalog with an abundance of new iterations this year, one being this “Leaf” colorway that has just been revealed via on-foot imagery.
Unlike the silhouette’s impending “MX Rock” makeup that bears playful marbled patterns throughout its PrimeKnit upper, this offering instead goes for a much cleaner base. A lighter beige hue is mostly pronounced here as it wraps a majority of the real estate, and comes contrasted by a thin black line that starts at the toe tips and runs all the way to the bumper, the latter of which is a design cue that isn’t often seen on the mainstay model. More neutral tones are spotted here via the muted brown accents that spill onto the laces and interior lining. The bottoms of these adidas YZY features a Light Beige Primeknit upper detailed with a Black stitched running down the tongue to the toe. A Darker Brown hue appears on the laces and collar lining completed with an icy translucent Boost cushioned sole.
Kanye West and adidas ever-popular YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 is set to begin a new chapter this summer with the release of the “Mono Pack,” and ahead of the pack’s arrival we’ve been given an on-foot look at the “Mono Mist” colorway. Though it may supply an earthy palette consistent with several other adidas YEEZY releases, the “Mono Mist” differentiates itself from its predecessors with an entirely new upper.
This new upper discards the Primeknit used on prior iterations, opting instead for a finely-woven mesh that surrounds an intricate exoskeleton. The forefoot takes on a medium brown shade while the heel opts for a more carmel-like brown tone, and the entire assemblage is accented by a more purplish-brown hue on the post-dyed monofilament side stripe.
Another notable difference arrives via the eyelets. Prior models in the YEEZY BOOST 350 line kept eyelets as minimal as possible, opting for simple holes in the upper. The “Mono Mist,” however, offers two rows of reinforced eyelets on each side for extra texture. Sand-colored detailing on the collar, heel tab and laces work with the tan BOOST-filled midsole to round off the look.
At the time of writing, a release date for the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Mono Mist” has yet to be announced. However, it’ll likely arrive in the forthcoming spring or summer months.

One of adidas Originals most iconic sneakers gets the Disney treatment in the duo’s new collection of special-edition Stan Smiths. The pair have teamed up to apply beloved Disney characters — including Peter Pan‘s Tinkerbell, robot hero Wall-E and Mike Wazowski of Monsters, Inc. — to the signature shoe.
Paying homage to the mischievous fairy, Disney and adidas apply a neon green outline of Tinkerbell to a white leather Stan Smith accented with pastel ombré laces and a matching heel panel. A second Stan Smith is illustrated with several drawings of Wall-E at the lateral, while Mike Wazowski appears on a light green version of the sneaker featuring a slime-colored midsole. A Groot-themed shoe features a rubber cork midsole, and Hulk is represented on a black and green version. Lastly, a green Stan embossed with a crocodile-like texture references Rex from Toy Story.
The Disney x adidas Originals Stan Smith collection launches on March 29 at the adidas website.
adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 “Ash Pearl”
Release Date: Mar. 20th, 2021 (Saturday)
Style Code: GY7658
The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 “Ash Pearl” puts a close on the silhouette’s Spring trilogy — and, possibly, this version of the silhouette’s construction as well. But before it turns to monofilament mesh, we’ll have these to enjoy tomorrow. Like the previous “Ash” themed colorways, this pair evokes quite a strong connection to past offerings. Tinged in a number of neutral, earthy tones, the upper bears a familiar tri-color that starts at the top of the lateral with beige notes. Immediately below, the stripe tints a bit darker but not quite as dark as the greys that fill up the lower half. These also extend over to the medial, covering more widespread with little interruptions. The tooling, then, completes the construction with yellow, near gum-like midsoles and treads.
Amidst all the recent YEEZY news, we now have a first look at the adidas YEEZY 500 “Enflame” courtesy of YEEZY MAFIA.
Set to arrive in the coming weeks, the upcoming release strays away from the previous monochromatic looks of the model, opting for a bold multicolor take. The mesh and suede upper of the shoe expresses a mix of brown, blue, gray and tan. The tan tone is continued on the midsole paired with a full-length adiPRENE technology bright orange rubber outsole.
Only a couple of weeks ago, the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 was revealed bearing a new, unique redesign. Rather than rely on the constructions it existed with for years now, the pair better visualizes its internal cages, adding on a contrasted “shadow” right to the side profile. Here, this version is taking the stage once again, clad in a rather subdued “Mono Mist” colorway.
Between the darker palettes, nods to the silhouette’s original upper make a cameo. The side stripe often laid against past iterations can be made out in a deep brown tone, one that loosely complements the shades that surround it. Above, the cage warps over top the side in black, while the laces and lining adjacent prefer far lighter grey detailing similar to the partially see-through sole.
Fans of the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 sneaker will have plenty of colorways to shop from this year, as reports have revealed that more styles are on the way.
According to Instagram account, the latest “Mono” pack of the popular shoe designed by Kanye West will reportedly hit shelves this summer. The Yeezy insider revealed that four distinct colorways will form the forthcoming set including the “Mono Mist,” “Mono Cinder,” “Mono Ice” and “Mono Clay” iterations. Given its far-off launch date, an early look at the styles has yet to surface, however mock-up depictions revealed the pairs will don monochromatic brown, black, light blue and tan color schemes, respectively.
It also stated that the four pairs will feature a translucent monofilament mesh replacing the breathable Primeknit material typically used to construct the upper. Familiar details include a contrasting stripe on the lateral side, a pull tab on the heel and matching shoelaces. Completing the look is full-length Boost cushioning embedded in the midsole and a rubber outsole.
Although early details of the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Mono” pack were shared by the Mafia, a release date has not been confirmed by the brand.
Kanye West‘s adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 is set to enter a new era with the “Mono Pack.” Since its inagural “Beluga” colorway released in September 2016, the 350 V2 has largely stuck to a formula: Primeknit upper, colorful (or translucent) side stripe, bulbous BOOST midsole. However, all four styles in the “Mono Pack” — “Mono Mist,” “Mono Cinder,” “Mono Clay” and “Mono Ice” — flip the script to bring a new look to the near-ubiquitous silhouette.
This new look is centered around two pieces: a reworked upper that uses semi-translucent mesh in place of Primeknit plus a visible inner cage that wraps around the midfoot and forefoot. Though adidas has yet to release official images of any “Mono Pack” style, early production images and the YEEZY MAFIA mock-ups posted above indicate that all four will offer fairly simple color schemes, opting to let the new construction do most of the talking.
“Mono Mist” belies its name by using rich brown shades, “Mono Cinder” offers stark black hues, “Mono Ice” supplies a chilly blue tone with white detailing and “Mono Clay” takes shape with orangish-brown colorblocking. Though the top half may be altered in construction, each sits above a familiar beefy midsole with a full-foot BOOST cushioning setup.
When Kanye was first spotted wearing the adidas Yeezy 450 early last year, fans were quick to comment and make memes about one of the brand’s most abstract propositions yet. A year later, the model is finally reaching a wider audience, starting with the “Cloud White” pair set to drop tomorrow.
This Yeezy 450‘s uppers adopt a grey-beige, wholly knit construction for a sock-like fit. All the chunkiness and intrigue of the design derives from the conversation-starting molded EVA foam sole. While acting as an exoskeleton to provide structure, it also bears a resemblance to bones with a ribcage-like shape. The sole wraps around the entire model, essentially encasing the knit uppers and adding to the wonders of the model. Underfoot, wavy lines are repeated to mimic the contours of the midsole. Familiar details such as tonal laces and a raised collar finish the unique look.
